American Pro-Coating (APC) is a family-owned and operated company based in San Diego County, proudly founded and led by Joseph Martinez. Starting his journey as a painting contractor in 1998, Joseph quickly became known for his expertise in custom finishes. In 2004, he expanded his capabilities by obtaining his General Contractor B License (Lic.#749303), allowing him to take on more extensive residential and commercial projects.
Since then, Joseph has specialized in a range of residential projects, including interior and exterior full-scale remodels, design/build initiatives, and new ground-up constructions. On the commercial front, APC has completed projects for spas, medical centers, and notable establishments like Blade 1936.
Our company has built a sterling reputation in the construction industry, distinguished by our exceptional design creativity and construction excellence. The APC team consists of highly skilled professionals committed to delivering top-quality workmanship. While our team is primarily composed of family members, we also collaborate with experienced subcontractors and our superintendent, Fernando Paredes. Fernando’s extensive experience, integrity, and expertise have played a significant role in establishing APC as a trusted name in construction throughout the greater San Diego County area.
